Olive Dining Room by Tony Bain

Sculptural chairs and table made in the 1960s by Tony Bain in Vallauris. The creations of this renowned sculptor combine the work of wood, here of the olive tree, with the ironwork of art embodied in a piece of cast iron on the chairs, element as much structural as aesthetic. Associated with the brutalist-rustic movement of the French post-war period, this set lets us appreciate the character of the grain and the patina of this noble wood that is the olive tree.
