Set of 2 Glassflex Slipper Chairs by Jacques Charpentier
The cushions of these slipper chairs seem to float on a layer of shimmering air. This is undoubtedly the effect that Jacques Charpentier, creator of this Glassflex model, wanted to achieve in the 1970s. The structure, in thick and very resistant lucite, twists on itself like a liquid film. The result is a minimalist silhouette, unpretentious, but with great visual impact. The base rests on 4 polished steel pads, and a bar of the same material holds the cushions in place. These are completely reupholstered. For this we used a mohair velvet from Piere Frey Bold collection, Forest color. Elegance and minimalist aesthetics allow these armchairs to be combined with modern or classic interiors.
