Sphère Lounge Chair by Boris Tabacoff. Ed. M.M.M.
There is a significant difference between sitting and floating in this iconic lounge chair made in the 1970s. This piece invites you to rest on its original nubuck cushion, which is nested in a classic semi-spherical shell of smoked plexiglass. The cozy tones, along with the texture of its upholstery, make this chair a soft experience both for the eyes and the contact of a relaxed body. The chromed metal base, composed of a circular shape and an inclined column that resembles suspension in the air more than a support, represents one of the signature shapes of the author Boris Tabacoff, who made this armchair as part of an original collection for Mobilier Modulaire Morderne.
